Adopt OpenJDK and NetBeans 7.1 Tips & Tricks
John will discuss the Adopt OpenJDK and OpenJDK Hack-A-Thon. The presentation will be based on the London Java Community (LJC) presentation.
After the presentation, John will demonstrate how to do a build of OpenJDK using Virtual Box and a Linux VM.
A discussion of JUG members favorite tips and tricks for NetBeans will be recorded for publication as a screencast for YouTube.
We will also cover Chapter 4 of the book Java: The Good Parts which can be downloaded from
the downloads section of the GreenJUG site.
